We are a LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) owned and operated small business from Southern California. With all the negativity and anti-cop rhetoric in recent years, we felt compelled to raise morale amongst police officers, their families and supporters everywhere. We wanted to design and produce apparel that can shine a spotlight on our difficult profession in a light-hearted manner. Our designs are inspired by the brave men and women in uniform who make our communities safer for our children and the next generation thereafter. Gumshoe & Co. is dedicated to all the first responders including our military who show up day in and day out.  We also want to express our gratitude to all the family and friends that support our first responders.  Our hope is to bring back a sense of pride and camaraderie amongst this profession through the continued support from the silent majority. We hear you and we thank you!

Fun fact: What is a gumshoe? The term gumshoe dates back to the 19th century where police detectives wanted to operate in stealth mode as they worked their investigations and sought to figure out what really happened in the commission of a crime. The idea of gum rubber was used to make the bottoms of soft-soled shoes. These shoes had very soft soles, so they didn’t make much noise when walking in them. The term came to be used for sneaking around quietly and eventually came to be used to refer to detectives.
